Suspension of Shipments to the United States

Update September 2026 – Suspension remains effective until further notice.

At Passion-Radio.com, we have supplied US radio amateurs for many years with antennas, SDR receivers, transceivers and other radio equipment shipped directly from our warehouse in France.

Unfortunately, due to the continuing changes in US customs rules, import procedures and carrier requirements, we are currently unable to offer sufficiently reliable and transparent shipping conditions to the United States and Puerto Rico.

For this reason, all shipments to the United States remain suspended until further notice.

Why are shipments still suspended?

Several factors currently make direct shipments from Europe to the US particularly complex:

• US customs duties: tariff rules for products originating from the European Union have changed several times since 2025. The applicable rate now depends on the product and its customs classification.
• New CPSC eFiling requirements: since July 8, 2026, imported consumer products subject to CPSC certification requirements must have their compliance certificate data filed electronically before entering the United States.
• New postal restrictions from September 17, 2026: La Poste has announced additional controls for certain categories of products shipped to the United States and Puerto Rico, including some electronic products. For affected products, additional CPSC registration and product declaration procedures may be required.
• Carrier and customs processing costs: customs brokerage, processing fees and other carrier charges may be added to official import duties.

As radio and communication equipment includes many electronic products, these new requirements add another level of uncertainty when determining whether a shipment can be accepted and cleared correctly.

Customs duties for US buyers

Import duties, taxes and customs brokerage fees applicable in the United States are normally payable by the recipient.

The amount may vary depending on the HTS classification, country of origin, product type and applicable US regulations.

These charges are determined by US authorities and carriers and are not controlled by Passion Radio.

When will shipping resume?

We continue to monitor available shipping solutions and US import requirements.

Our objective is to resume shipments when we can once again provide a reliable shipping method with clear customs procedures and predictable costs for our US customers.
