This USB cable is used to program the codeplug needed to configure this walkie-talkie DMR.

The official Baofeng software for DM-5R (and RD-5R) for Windows can be downloaded below.

Important: The programming cable for the Baofeng analog walkie-talkie (UV-5R, UV-6R, UV-82) is not compatible with digital Baofeng DMR DM-5R, Radioddity RD-5R, Baofeng DM1701 and DM1801.

Comes with: Genuine Baofeng cable for DM-5R, Radioddity RD-5R, Baofeng DM1701 and DM1801 (supplied without CD, software to download below).

How to run the BF-5R software in English?

If at the launch of the programming software for the DM-5R you have the menu in Chinese, you can switch the software in English by clicking on the 5th menu from the top, starting from the left, as shown below:
