Power cable cigarette lighter socket, genuine TYT for the TH-UV88 walkie talkie also compatible with Retevis RT85.

This is not a battery charger, it is a battery eliminator that replaces the existing battery to power the station directly from the 12V cigarette lighter socket of a car for example. Does not allow the battery to be recharged from the cigarette lighter.

Supplied with: 1 TYT 12v power supply for TH-UV88.

Good Quality Product

This is a very useful accessory for use with the Retevis RT85. It can be used to power the radio from the car electrical supply when mobile (or a 13.8v supply for use at home etc.) and so save the detachable battery for use when portable. It is well made and the part that replaces the battery on the radio is similar in dimension to the original 1400mAh battery supplied with the radio so it does not any more bulk to the radio when attached. I recommend this unit for mobile operation of the compatible radios including the RT86.
