The Diamond HV5S is a multi-band mobile amateur radio antenna for the 7/21/50/144/430 MHz HF frequency bands.

Its robust construction and ease of installation make it an ideal choice for use in mobile conditions with a single antenna for the bands covered:

HF: 40m (7MHz), 15m (21MHz)
VHF: 6m (50MHz), 2m (144MHz)
UHF: 70cm (430MHz)
Maximum power: 120W (SSB) HF and 200W VHF/UHF
Length: 1.42 metres
Base: Tiltable
Connector type: PL-259

Depending on the set the antenna is used with, we recommend adding the MX-62M diplexer diplexer to separate the HF and VHF/UHF bands.

This Diamond HV-5S antenna is guaranteed original direct from Japan.

Installation advice

1 - The HV5S antenna requires a very good ground plane in order to be tuned to the HF bands.

For the VHF and UHF bands, it can operate without a ground plane.

2 - We do not recommend the use of a magnetic base with this antenna and recommend a car mount grounded to the vehicle chassis or a bracket with holes.
