The Bencher BY-2 paddle is identical to the BY-1, except that the black base is replaced by chrome.
The Bencher BY-2 are iambic double lever paddles with adjustable contact spacing and tension, self-adjusting needle bearings, gold plated solid silver contacts, polished clear Lucite paddles, heavy steel bases and non-skid feet.
The main frame, contact post and bearing ring are machined from solid brass, providing a definitive but subtle tactile feedback, no friction and perfect closure of every dot and dash.

The underside of the BY-2 has 3 female and male connection terminals for ground and each of the DIT and DAH connections.
HF transceivers with a 3.5mm or 6.35mm KEY input jack can be connected directly with the optional EZ-1 kit.
The EZ-1 has a 3-wire cable with the correct female terminals at one end for the BY-2, at the other end a 3.5mm connector with a 6.35mm adapter.
