Yes. The ThinkNode M7 includes a PoE receiver module compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard (37V–57V DC). You can therefore power it and connect it to the local network using a single RJ45 Ethernet cable plugged into a standard switch or PoE injector.
Yes, the device comes with the official Meshtastic firmware preinstalled. As soon as it’s turned on, it’s immediately detectable via Bluetooth by the Meshtastic app on your smartphone for quick setup.
Absolutely. Thanks to its Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, you can enable the MQTT feature in the Meshtastic settings to connect your local mesh network to the global Meshtastic channels or to your own private MQTT server.
The device is equipped with two RP-SMA female connectors. If you want to mount the antenna on a roof or use a higher-gain antenna, be sure to use an antenna or adapter cable with an RP-SMA male connector.
The original enclosure is designed for indoor installation (standard IP rating). For outdoor deployment, it must be placed in a ventilated, weatherproof enclosure.
