The Yaesu FTA-750L (Spirit GPS) VHF AM Aviation Handheld Walkie Talkie is 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz compatible and has VOR & ILS display and GPS.

Since January 1, 2018, all aircraft are required to use the new 8.33khz standard, instead of 25 kHz on the VHF aviation band AM 118-137Mhz and for all air-ground communications below FL 195 in Europe.

Supplied with: 1 FTA-750-L (Spirit GPS), 1 AA battery box, 1 lithium-ion battery 1800 mAh, 1 desktop charger 220V, 1 BNC antenna, 1 belt clip and 1 SCU-15 adapter.

Includes the Yaesu SCU-15 adapter to connect an airplane headset with 6.3mm (PJ-055) and 5.23mm (PJ-068) plug.

This equipment is no longer manufactured by Yaesu and replaced by the FTA-850L model.

From the CAA UK, this portable radio is LA3 approved, and can be used as a secondary radio (on board or on the ground) but not as a primary radio in areas that require it.
