The Yaesu handhelds FTA-550 and FTA-750 (with GPS) VHF are radios 8.33 kHz & 25 kHz compatible and provide VOR & ILS display.
This equipment is LA3 approved by CAA UK for use on the ground and can be connected to an outdoor AM VHF antenna by a BNC male adapter.
Available in 3 versions:
FTA-550AA: comes with AA battery box, BNC antenna, belt clip and SCU-15 headphone adapter.
FTA-550L: comes with 1800mAh lithium-ion battery, 220V desktop charger, BNC antenna, belt clip and SCU-15 headphone adapter.
All versions include a Yaesu SCU-15 adapter for connecting aviation headphones with a 6.3mm (PJ-055) and 5.23mm (PJ-068) jack.
Also available Yaesu aero FTA-750L with GPS.
