Read the 3 reviewsThe LW-40 is a 40.56m long wire antenna incorporating the M0CVO 9:1 UNUN at the feed point allowing it to be fed directly with a 50 ohm coaxial cable. This antenna is capable of operating on all HF bands from 160m (1.8Mhz) via an external tuner.
It can be mounted straight, inverted V or sloper. It can also be folded to fit the space available in the garden and can support up to 400W PEP CW or SSB.
Supplied with: 1 x 40.56m M0CVO LW-40 antenna.

IMPORTANT: Maximum power is indicated in PEP and is for amateur radio use in intermittent mode (CW or SSB) only.
Not suitable for AM broadcasting or constant carrier data modes (such as FT8 or RTTY) at high power (100W). For these modes, reduce power considerably (50W max recommended) to avoid overheating and damage to the balun. For full-power use in constant-carrier modes, opt for a QRO balun.
