WINDCAMP Gipsy half-wave dipole antenna specially designed for portable amateur radio activities.

This antenna can be erected horizontally, in an inverted V, guyed or even vertically.

The resonant frequency can be easily adjusted in the 5-50MHz range by unrolling the irradiator on the roll.

The ingenious coil system makes it easy to adjust the resonant frequency throughout the 5-50MHz range simply by unrolling the irradiator on the coil. To facilitate rapid frequency changes, 9 amateur radio bands are clearly marked as resonant points: 5/7/10/14/18/21/24/28(29)/50MHz.

FAQ :

Q: How do I set the resonance frequency?
A: Unroll the irradiator on the roller to the mark corresponding to the desired band. The 9 amateur radio bands are clearly marked for quick and accurate setting. An inverted-V installation will tend to make the radiation more omni-directional; horizontally, the dipole antenna is directive.

Q: What is the best mounting configuration?
A: For optimum use, horizontal mounting is recommended. The inverted V is well suited to confined spaces. Vertical mounting can be used in special conditions.

Q: What is the maximum power the antenna can handle?
A: The antenna can handle up to 100W PEP SSB. Do not exceed this power to avoid damage. For use in FT8 or equivalent mode, we recommend a maximum power of 30-40W.
