The standard P1 model is a budget version: it does not feature an internal GPS chip and is sold without 18650 batteries, making it a perfect and more affordable choice for fixed repeaters whose geographical location is known and fixed.

What batteries should be used to power it?

The unit requires rechargeable 18650 Li-ion batteries to store solar energy and ensure operation at night or in cloudy conditions.

How do you carry out the initial setup?

Set-up is carried out simply via Bluetooth using the official Meshtastic mobile app on your Android smartphone or iPhone.

Can the device operate in continuous rain?
