Transmitter bandpass filter from Antennas Amplifiers for the 2m frequency band from 144 MHz to 148 MHz 1.5 kW, with insertion loss <0.1 dB, N female connector and maximum power 1500W.

The BPF filter uses high Q coils and capacitors, with a Q of over 4500. The low loss of the filter is achieved through careful design and tuning.

Can also be used as a receive filter before the wideband LNA to protect sensitive devices from strong out-of-band signals.

Although the intention of this filter is to be used as a transmit filter, the design also allows it to be used as a receive filter before the wideband LNA to protect sensitive devices from strong out-of-band signals.

Intended for use with linear amplifiers up to 1.5 kW output. This bandpass filter will suppress any harmonic emission from your linear amplifier.

With very low insertion loss. Perfect for placing before any LNA or to protect the receiver from HF transmitters in DX shipments or in the multi-multi environment.

This BPF filter will suppress all signals from HF stations 1.8 - 28 MHz, 50-54 MHz, 70 cm - 432 MHz (430 - 440 MHz).

It will reduce TVI (TV interference) or neighbourhood problems associated with strong radio interference from HF transmitters, 6 metres or 70 cm.

Results measured with the fully calibrated two-port HP8753ES network analyser:

  • 1.8MHz=-100 dB
  • 3.8MHz=-91 dB
  • 7.1 MHz = -81 dB
  • 14 MHz = -67dB
  • 21MHz= -58dB
  • 28 MHz = -51 dB
  • 50 MHz = -34 dB
  • 54 MHz = -31 dB
  • 144 MHz = -0.09 dB
  • 145 MHz = -0.086 dB
  • 146 MHz = -0.09 dB
  • 148 MHz = -0.089 dB

Harmonics and spurious signals :

  • 288 MHz = -40 dB
  • 296 MHz = -37 dB
