Moonraker GPA-80HF basic HF antenna in aluminum for fixed use in the amateur radio bands from 3.5 to 57 MHz (80 Meters to 6 Meters) in TX transmission (with the use of an external tuner) and for reception in RX frequencies from 2 Mhz to 90 MHz.

The antenna is approximately 5.5 meters high and can handle a maximum power of 400 watts.

The connector at the base of the antenna is UHF-Female (SO-239), supplied with a bracket for mounting on 25 to 42mm mast.

Available in fiberglass version: GPA-80F

Depending on the installation and the ground plan, the antenna can be used directly on the 40m to 10m bands, on the 60m and 80m bands an external tuner is required in all cases.

The addition of radians in the form of electric wires, at the base of the whip, is recommended to improve the performance of the antenna, in particular on the low HF bands.

Assembly advice: On the version with aluminum whip, insert each 10 cm aluminum tube into the previous tube, screw without forcing the clamps, put the cap at the top of the antenna on the last tube. Check the tightness of the screws at the base of the whip.

On the fiberglass version the tubes are screwed directly into each other. Check the tightness of the screws at the base of the whip, re-screw if necessary without forcing.

Conception de l\'antenne pas terrible. La qualité de la fabrication laisse à désirer. Il est important de ne pas serrer trop fort les colliers de serrage, car ils sont très fragiles. Aucun réglage n\'est disponible. Elle est extrêmement fragile. Elle ne couvre pas toutes les bandes. Il faut sûrement mettre des contrepoids pour couvrir toutes les bandes. L\'antenne filaire avec un panneau 49:1 est plus performante.À mon avis, elle n\'est pas à la hauteur de son prix.

Antenne de bonne facture, un peu déçu par les colliers : j\'ai dû remplacer le dernier. Sinon, les premiers résultats en émission me paraissent corrects. Au radio-club (F6KCE) nous avons acheté la version fibre qui me paraît également très correct.

Après début cahotique (balun dessoudé au niveau du so232), cette antenne fait très bien le taf...Après, faut pas s'attendre à des miracles sur le 7Mhz vu les dimensions de l'antenne, mais elle est quasi parfaite sur le 15 et 10Mhz.. Pour la version fibre de verre, prudence les filets de visserie en alu sont excessivements fragiles !

Livraison rapide et parfaite. Matériel installé dans la foulée et premiers essais intéressants en mode FT8 (USA, Belize,Bresil, Canada...) Lors d'une propagation moyenne. La réception est bonne et l'émission est un peu faible (90 W) et les reports moyens à faibles. mais à la vue du prix et de la facilité du montage (15 mn) c'est un très bon compromis.

Ne marche pas dans le 80 mètre et le 40 mètre un bon tos mai reçois que tu qrm pas possible d'écouter le qso des lève tôt sur le 3646 mhz
Answer: Compte tenu de la longueur d'onde sur 80m et de la taille réduite de cette antenne pour cette bande, il n'est pas surprenant que le rendement ne soit pas bon sur le bande des 80m d'autant plus en matinée/journée alors que le 80m est une bande nocturne, sans compter la possible atténuation de 20dB avec les correspondants ayant des antennes directives ou filaires en polarisation horizontale alors que cette antenne est en polarisation verticale.

C'est la deuxième antenne que j'achète j'ai installer la version fibre de verre au QRA et acheter la version aluminium pour le portable , elle fait vraiment sont travail et donne un bon rendement.idéal pour les petit budget, ou le manque de place au QRA.Côté émission et réception je suis vraiment satisfais...Je recommande vraiment

Antenne HF verticale Moonraker GPA-80 multibande H
Reçue hier 09/12 et installée le 10/12. (modèle fibre de verre). Installation très facile (légèreté de l'antenne) et prix mini. Très bien sur 40m et 20m (TOS entre 1.2 et 1.5), plus compliqué au dessus ( Utilisation d'un tuner Kenwood AT-50 avec un Kwd TS-450 en CW QRP 10 watts). Cela ne me gène pas trop car je trafique exclusivement sur ces 2 bandes. En résumé, satisfait de mon achat qui permets de résoudre mon manque de place et satisfait mon épouse "qui ne veut pas voir des fils partout" !! (j'ai une G5RV que je ne peux plus utiliser)
