HF mAT-K100 MAT-TUNER for KENWOOD and ICOM
No review at the momentThe mAT-K100 is an automatic antenna tuner operating in the 1.8MHz to 54MHz range, at power levels up to 120 watts.
It can be used to tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis, or virtually any coax-fed antenna.
It is designed for modern ICOM and KENWOOD HF transceivers depending on the control cable added: the mAT-CI for ICOM (not supplied) and mAT-CK for KENWOOD (supplied).
Compatible ICOM devices: IC-706, 703, 718, 7000, 7100, 7200, 7300, 7410, 746, 756, 7600, AH-3 and AH-4
Compatible KENWOOD devices: TRC-80, TK-80, TS-2000, 50, 450, 480SAT (except HX version), 570, 590, 850, 870, 990 and any device supporting KENWOOD AT-300 tuners. KENWOOD TS-430, TS-440 are too old to use this tuner.
Supplied with: 1 mAT-K100 tuner and a mAT-CK control cable for Kenwood.

Features:
- From 0.1 to 120 watts of peak SSB and CW power, 30 watts in FT8, PSK and digital modes, and 100 SSB watts on 6 metres.
- 16,000 memories for instant frequency and band changes.
- Tuning times: 0.1 to 5 seconds full tuning, 0.1 seconds memory tuning.
- Coverage from 1.6 to 54.0 MHz. Integrated frequency sensor.
- Adjusts loads from 5 to 1500 ohms.
- For dipoles, verticals, whips, wires or any other coaxial-fed antenna.
- Weight: 0.8Kg.
The mAT-K100 has 16,000 frequency memories. When you tune to or near a previously tuned frequency, the mAT-K100 uses "Memory Tune" to recall the previous tuning settings in a fraction of a second. If no stored settings are available, the tuner performs a full tuning cycle, storing the settings for memory recall on subsequent tuning cycles to that frequency. In this way, the mAT-K100 'learns' as it goes along, adapting to bands and frequencies. You can also start a tuning cycle manually if required.
Important note: When used in FT8/FT4 digital mode, or in AM, RTTY, PSK carrier mode, the maximum power must be reduced by at least half (30-40W max recommended), and when tuning the transmitter power must be at a minimum (5-10W), otherwise the tuner will burn out and this will not be taken into account in the warranty in the event of excessive power.
