The DESHIBO WV-601 is a portable passive aluminium magnetic loop antenna designed for radio amateurs and broadband reception enthusiasts.

It offers full reception coverage from 0 to 999 MHz and transmits up to 10W on the 2m and 70cm bands. Compact, lightweight and weatherproof (IPX4), it's easy to install outdoors.

0-999 MHz reception: covers LW, MW, SW, FM, AIR, VHF and UHF bands.
Transmits at 2 m / 70 cm up to 10 W (144-148 MHz / 430-440 MHz).
Passive, low-noise design: ideal for SDRs, wideband receivers and short-wave radios.
Lightweight aluminium structure: only 2 kg for rapid deployment in the field.
IPX4 rating: splash-proof, suitable for outdoor installation
70 cm diameter loop: compact size for portable or mobile use.

Supplied with: loop antenna, support mast with mounting accessories, 10 m BNC male/female cable, 1 m 3.5 → BNC male cable, 1 m BNC male/male cable, SMA adapter, user manual.

Loop antenna installation :

Install outdoors if possible: reception is much better than indoors, where walls and equipment generate interference.
Height: the higher the loop, the better the signal. A minimum height of 2 to 4 m above the ground is recommended.
Keep it away from sources of interference: keep it at least 5 m away from power cables, LED lights, Wi-Fi routers, solar panels, computers or other electronic equipment.
Orientation: loop antennas are directional. Orient it to maximise the useful signal or reduce parasitic noise (by turning the loop, you can often "cancel out" a source of interference).
Compatibility: SDR, broadband receivers, short-wave radios, scanners.
