TheAlexTune is designed to operate on QRP magnetic loops with an output of 2 to 20 watts in SSB and 1 to 10 watts in CW/FM/Digital and digital modes.

The AlexTune RF tuning indicator detects the relative RF output power and illuminates an LED accordingly.

Tuning an AlexLoop or magnetic loop antenna is child's play with the AlexTune.

Simply clip it onto the PL259 connector and turn the loop tuner knob until the LED shines brightest when transmitting, in any carrier mode. After tuning, it can be left in place.

The brightness of the LED varies according to the band you are operating on. In general, a lower RF frequency results in a less bright LED, even at the lowest VSWR.

Compatible with magnetic loop antennas that use PL259 connectors and a coaxial cable radiator such as the AlexLoop.
