The GUOHETEC PMR-171 (new V2 version) is an ultra-versatile portable SDR transceiver designed for amateur radio, wideband listening, field operations, and advanced technical applications.

It covers a reception range from 100 kHz to 2 GHz, and all amateur radio HF, VHF, and UHF transmission bands in FT8, USB, LSB, CW, AM, FM, and RTTY modes.

It features a fast automatic antenna tuner, an SWR analyzer and high SWR detector, as well as a real-time spectrum and waterfall display. Compact, self-contained, and fully featured, it is designed for portable and mobile use.

It can be controlled via Bluetooth by an Android smartphone or a PC.

Belle fabrication
Belle fabrication, fonctionne bien suivant mes attentes.
Mise à jour Firmware 3_7_6 OK, solutionne principalement les rebonds des boutons et surtout de l\'encodeur rotatif qui maintenant fonctionne parfaitement de façon fluide comme attendus.
Batterie tient bien la charge, avec 16 heures de fonctionnement (RX 15h30 et 4 QSO d\'environ 5 mn à pleine puissance ), recharge en 1h25 environ après décharge totale.
Belle sensibilité et bonne modulation, contrairement à des avis plus anciens (le Firmware y est pour beaucoup dans ce genre de transceiver !)

A good portable 'shack-in-a-box.
I spent a lot of time looking at online reviews of this radio before making a purchase decision. Overall, I am pleased with the radio; it is well built and easy to operate and is ideal for the portable operations that I have in mind. Since receiving it I have updated the firmware,which was incredibly simple, I have programmed repeater channels using software and direct input and tested HF and VHF operation. A manual is included but it is for the V1 radio, an updated manual can be found on the included USB key or downloaded from the manufacturer\'s website. The PMR - 171 is not my first Chinese radio and in terms of quality and function, I think that it compares well with other products on the market.
