The tinySA ULTRA is the new, more powerful version of the mini portable spectrum analyser, for the MF/HF/VHF bands from 100 KHz to 800 MHz and the UHF and SHF bands from 800 MHz to 5400 MHz in ULTRA mode (downgraded).

Spectrum analyser specifications

  • Input frequency range from 100kHz to 800MHz in normal mode and up to 6GHz in ULTRA mode.
  • Input impedance of 50 ohms when input attenuation is set to 10 dB or more.
  • Manual and automatic input attenuation selectable between 0dB and 31dB in 1dB steps when LNA is not active
  • Maximum input +/-5V DC
  • Absolute maximum input level of +6dBm with 0dB internal attenuation
  • Maximum absolute short-term input power of +20dBm with 30dB internal attenuation
  • Suggested maximum input power of +0dBm with internal attenuation in automatic mode
  • For best measurements, input power should be less than -25dBm.
  • Third-order modulation intercept point (IIP3) of +15dBm with 0dB internal attenuation
  • Compression point of 1dB at -1dBm with 0dB internal attenuation
  • Power detector resolution of 0.5dB and linearity as a function of frequency of +/-2dB below 5.3GHz, +/-5dB between 5.3GHz and 6GHz
  • Absolute power level accuracy after power level calibration of +/- 2dB
  • Optional integrated 20dB LNA with 5dB noise figure
  • Lowest discernible signal without LNA at 30MHz using 30kHz resolution bandwidth of -102dBm

  • On-screen resolution of 51, 101, 145, 290 or 450 measurement points
  • Scanning speed of over 1000 points/second using the highest resolution filters
  • Automatic optimisation of the actual scan points to ensure coverage of the entire scan range, regardless of the resolution bandwidth chosen
  • Noise suppression option to assess whether certain signals are internally generated or actually present in the input signal
  • Headphone output for listening to demodulated audio (AM only). Stereo connector only, higher impedance is stronger, short circuit protection

Signal generator specifications

  • Sine wave output with harmonics less than -40dB from fundamental from 100kHz to 800MHz
  • Output level selectable in 1dB steps between -110dBm and -20dBm
  • Above 800 MHz, choice of two output modes
  • Cleanest signal mode: square wave, up to 4.4 GHz with coarse frequency steps and a less accurate output level
  • Maximum precision mode: reduced harmonics with possibly strong spurs up to 5.4GHz with a frequency resolution equal to less than 800MHz and fine output level steps
  • Level accuracy +/- 2dB up to 800Mhz between -72dBm and -18dBm, less accuracy below -72dBm, even less accuracy below -110dBm
  • Output frequency resolution 57.2Hz
  • Optional AM or FM modulation frequencies between 50Hz and 5kHz (AM) or 1kHz (FM) or sweep over selectable frequency range
  • AM modulation depth between 10% and 100
  • FM deviation between 1kHz and 300kHz
  • Optional output level sweep over entire output level range
  • Optional square wave output with -35.6 dBm fundamental connected to calibration output
  • Frequency can be set to 1 MHz, 2 MHz, 4 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz or 30 MHz

Un gain de temps sur le terrain
Cet analyseur a un niveau de bruit très bas comparé aux autres machines de la même gamme de prix.
C\'est un outil qui facilite mon travail au quotidien. Son utilisation me permet de rassurer mes collaborateurs en festival.

Bonjour
L\'appareil m\'est arrivé non fonctionnel (écran noir) j\'ai u ouvrir le capot arrière pour appercevoir qu\'un des câbles de la batterie avait été coincé au montage et l\'isolant a été détruit à un endroit.
Après \"tapoté\" sur le ruban connecteur de l\'écran, l\'appareil s\'est mis à fonctionner normalement semble-t-il ....A voir sur le long terme. Si la panne revient j\'espère que cela couvert par la garantie ...
Vous n\'y êtes pour rien mais cela ne fait pas très sérieux.

J\'ai déjà un 8562A de chez HP.
20kg de bonne technologie.
Et 22ghz.
Mais cet appareil portatif est excellent en extérieur. Obéit au doigt et a l\'oeil,on apprend vite a le manier.

Produit bien conçu. Le format portable est appréciable. Beaucoup de réglages disponibles. Je n\'ai pas encore assez de recul, mais je suis satisfait des premières mesures sur de nombreuses bandes.
