The mAT-40 is an automatic HF/SSB tuner that lets you quickly tune any asymmetric or single-wire antenna automatically.

Depending on the interface cable added (sold separately), it can work with Yaesu (mAT-40-Y), ICOM (mAT-40-M) and KENWOOD (mAT-40-K) transceivers.

Supplied with: 1 mAT-40 tuner and 10m control cable.

Data sheet

Frequency range: 1.6 to 54.0 MHz. Integrated frequency sensor
Maximum power: 0.1 to 120 watts peak SSB and CW power, 30 watts in PSK and digital mode, and 100 watts SSB on 6 metres
Tuning time: 0.1 to 5 seconds full tune, 0.1 seconds memory tune
Minimum tunable antenna length: 2.5 m

The mAT-40 also features advanced memory tuning, providing 16,000 memory locations. When you tune close to a previously used frequency, it will recall the settings for almost instant tuning. It learns your favourite frequencies and bands as you use it. You can also start a tuning cycle manually if required.

It can operate in all kinds of harsh outdoor environments and is only 20cm in size, making it the smallest outdoor antenna tuner.

Important note: When used in FT8/FT4 digital mode, or in AM, PSK carrier mode, the maximum power must be reduced by at least half (30-40W max recommended), and when tuning the transmitter power must be at a minimum (5W), otherwise the tuner will burn out and this will not be taken into account in the warranty in the event of excessive power.
