The M0CVO LW-20 is a 20m long wire antenna, operating on all bands from 80m - 6m via an external tuner.

This antenna gives good results when space is limited. For full band coverage you will need an external tuner.

Due to the variable impedance found on any long wire antenna, your transceiver's built-in tuner may not be able to tune if the VSWR is greater than 3. In this case you will need to use an external tuner that has a larger correction range.

This antenna is end-fed and incorporates the UNUN M0CVO 9:1 at the feed point, allowing it to be fed directly with a 50 ohm coaxial cable.

The 9:1 UNUN also eliminates static noise and provides a DC path to ground.

Supplied with: 1 x 20m M0CVO LW-20 antenna.

IMPORTANT: Maximum power is indicated in PEP and is for amateur radio use in intermittent mode (CW or SSB) only.

Not suitable for AM broadcasting or constant carrier data modes (such as FT8 or RTTY) at high power (100W). For these modes, reduce power considerably (50W max recommended) to avoid overheating and damage to the balun. For full-power use in constant-carrier modes, opt for a QRO balun.

Pas convaincu du tout à l'utilisation
Achetée il y a un moment, satisfait de sa qualité apparente mais pas encore utilisée. Premières utilisations pas convaincantes du tout. ROS ~ 1.7-2.7 sur les bandes 10-40m, soit nettement plus qu'avec ma EFHW "fabrication maison" et rendement inférieur. Toutes mes tentatives d'y mettre des contrepoids => ROS++.
