New version of the SDRPlay wideband receiver, the RSP1A now covers all frequencies from 1 kHz to 2 GHz without hole, all modes, with up to 10 MHz bandwidth on the screen and 14-bit sampling.

In addition, the new SDRPlay RSP1A features 11 band filters that switch automatically according to the frequency used, an adjustable gain LNA preamp, a 0.5 PPM TCXO and a 4.7V BIAS-T power supply.

The RSP1A works with SDR software on Windows, Mac and Linux such as: SDRUno (official software recommended), SDR Console, HDSDR and CubicSDR.

All you need to run the SDRPlay is a computer or a Raspberry, a USB cable and an antenna to have a receiver-scanner broadband, powerful, all modes.

Supplied with: SDRPlay RSP1A assembled in plastic case (without power cable).

Installing SDRPlay online

Compatibility with Android smartphone or tablet: To date only the first generation RSP1 version is compatible with an Android smartphone or tablet and the SDRTouch software, with the installation of the android driver SDRPlay for SDR Touch. The Android version 7.0 is not yet supported by this driver that works for Android versions 3.1 to 6. The new version RSP1A and the RSP2 and RSP2PRO are not compatible with Android and SDRTouch currently.

Recommendations and support

1 - Do not connect the RSP1A directly to the same antenna as your transmitter, or to an antenna in the near field of a transmitting antenna as this may cause irreversible damage.

2 - The RSP1A is sensitive to electrostatic discharge which can damage the receiver if not protected or used correctly. It is recommended to disconnect the antenna in case of severe weather and to ensure an earthing of the antenna. Before reconnecting the coaxial cable after a thunderstorm, it is imperative the unloader (braid and core) to the ground.

In these 2 cases of loss of reception and RF damage, the warranty will not apply and the equipment neither repaired, exchanged or refunded. The signs of RF damage are characterized by signs of hot on or around components near the signal input, a burning smell is also an indication of RF damage.

La merveille !
Un peu peureux du SDR, j'ai testé comme d'autres sans doute une solution RTL basique, qui m'a montré que ça pouvait marcher, mais aussi et surtout que ça pouvait vraiment mal marcher. Après avoir parcouru des dizaines de sites, lu des articles et regardé des vidéos, j'ai tenté le RSP1A dont tou le monde s'accorde à ne dire que du bien. Je serai donc un de plus qui ne peut que le recommander. Il n'a rien à envier à mon déca, il fait même souvent mieux car les filtres sont plus nombreux. La sensibilité est excellente, la précision en fréquence aussi, et que dire de la couverture ! Pour un tel prix, si vous voulez vous familiariser avec le monde de la sdr, c'est clairement le produit à choisir, sans la moindre hésitation !

Pour remplacer un RTL-SDR défectueux. Le RSP1A associé à SDRUno (et à une antenne correcte) est vraiment intéressant.Je l\'utilise avec une discone 50-1200 en pleine ville et en environement pas très dégagé, je capte malgré tout : Roissy (approche et tour), Le Bouget, Orly, Villacoublay et autres. Quelques émetteurs morse et rtty. Je m\'attaque à l\'antenne et je ne doute pas que mon RSP1A me fasse découvrir d\'autre chose intéressante.

je ne connaissais pas ce produit a part en avoir entendu parler, je suis plutot une "brel" quand a l'utilisation d'appareil informatique, mais aprés une petite présentation d'un ami j'ai été conquis, j'ai passé commande et 48 heures plus tard le sdrplay etait a la maison (bravo pour la réactivité de passion radio et de leur transporteur) ce petit récepteur est juste bluffant, une petite merveille qui pourra séduire tous les swl et opérateurs radio, un trés bon achat pour moi.

J'avais déjà des clefs SDR pas chères mais j'aurais mieux fait d'acheter tout de suite ce RSP1A ! La qualité est nettement supérieure, le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité/prix. En prime, la panoplie de filtres en interne qui améliore grandement la réception. Et l'usage avec le logiciel SDRuno est vraiment top.

Ayant quelques réserves par rapport à un véritable transceiver, je trouve que la qualité globale de ce produit est très correcte. Le soft définie pour le récepteur, SDRUno donne d'emblée une bonne appréciation, certes, il faut un certain temps pour en maîtriser les fondamentaux. La sensibilité n'est pas trop mal. C'est pratique en utilisation mobile et donne d'excellentes performances en fixe avec de bons aériens (indispensable). 73'

Voici ma première impression sur le récepteur SDRplay, par rapport au SDR DX-Patrol le SDRplay est nettement plus sensible. Superbe réception, calme et très peu de bruit de fond. Je suis vraiment enchanté du SDRplay il est à la hauteur des GRANDS. La réception en HF ou VHF / UHF est très bonne et mon QTH se trouve dans un trou hi. 73 QRO.

Déjà possesseur d'un autre récepteur sdr je dois avouer que les résultats obtenus sont extrêmement positifs. Il est aussi sensible que mon ic 7100 avec une antenne moins performante ! Très utile en contest pour chercher les stations sur toute la bande !

Un gadjet sympa
Attention on ne peut pas dire que c'est un excellent récepteur. C'est nettement au dessus d'une clé RTL mais ça reste assez médiocre et sans comparaison avec un véritable SDR à échantillonnage direct ou un récepteur analogique correct. Pleins de fréquence image en VHF/UHF. En HF la transmodulation est très présente et sur une antenne performante, vous recevrez des stations de radiodiffusion un peu partout sur des bandes où elles n'émettent pas ! Néanmoins j'en suis très content et pour le prix on peut découvrir un large spectre...

Le câble d'alimentation des récepteurs SDRplay est le même que celui utilisé sur une imprimante en USB.

Il s'agit d'un câble USB Male A - Male B à utiliser.
