Exceptional closure: From January 22 to 29, 2021, shipments resumes from February 1, 2021.
The HackRF One is a SDR receiver-transmitter covering from 1MHz to 6GHz in all available modes, analog and digital.
Tip: For use in the lab, or with strong signals nearby, the sensitivity of the device is sufficient. To use as receiver only we recommend the addition of an LNA preamplifier and an external antenna adapted to the frequency bands used. Or you may have a look at the SDRPlay RSPdx receiver from 0.5 to 2Ghz.
Now available in 2 versions: With original case (plastic) or without case (bare board).
Optional: Aluminum Case, clear case, and RF shield kit.
Comes with: HackRF One card (with or without case) and micro-USB power cable, without antenna.
Compatible antennas in SMA male: Diamond SRH-789, ANT500, or ANT700
From 1MHz to 6GHz, initially announced from 10Mhz, the HackRF can receive very large signals from 1MHz (shortwave radios) and from 5MHz signal lower powers (amateur radio bands)

Powered by USB Open source hardware
The maximum power of the TX for HackRF One varies on which operating frequency:
- 10 MHz to 2150 MHz: 5 dBm to 15 dBm (3 mW to 30 mW), generally increasing frequency decreases
- 2150 MHz to 2750 MHz: 13 dBm to 15 dBm (20 mW to 30 mW)
- 2750 MHz to 4000 MHz : from 0 dBm to 5 dBm ( 0-3 mW ), increases as the frequency decreases
- 4000 MHz to 6000 MHz : -10 dBm to 0 dBm, generally increases as the frequency decreases
The frequency range with the best performance is 2150 MHz to 2750 MHz with 30 mWatts in output power (TX).
The output power is sufficient for testing short-range (a few meters) or to power amplifier. If you connect an amplifier, you must also use an external filter bandpass adapted to the operating frequency.
HackRF One is an equipment for testing RF systems. It is used like-this and you are legally responsible for the use of your HackRF One. An easiest, and legal way is to become an ham radio operator ;-)
